    The SSC CHSL exam is conducted every year for recruitment in many Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the govt. of India. SSC has released the SSC CHSL 2023 Notifications on its official website and the recruitment details have been released along with the notification.     SSC CHSL 2023 Vacancy

    SSC CHSL 2023 Vacancy: The total vacancy released for various posts to be filled in the year 2023 is approximately 1600. As per the official notification, the firm number of vacancies will be determined later on. Every year thousands of vacancies are filled by SSC in Government departments. The commission announces vacancies to recruit candidates for Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts through the SSC CHSL Recruitment Drive 2023.

     

    Educational Qualification (04/01/2023)

    The educational qualification varies according to the post candidate applying for. The educational qualification according to the vacancy applied is as follows:

    (A) The basic requirement is a pass certificate in class 12th from a recognized board or university.

    (B) For the post of DEO in the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), applicants must have studied science and mathematics as main subjects in Class 12th.

     

    Age Limit (As of 1st August 2023)

    The age of candidates must be between 18 to 27 years.

    SSC CHSL Age Relaxation: As per government guidelines age relaxation in SSC CHSL 2023 is given in the table below:

     06  Ex-Servicemen  03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
    07 Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st January 1980 to 31st December 1989. 5 years
    08 Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof. 3 years
    09 Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof (SC/ ST). 8 years
    10 Central Government Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as of the closing date for receipt of online applications. Up to 40 years of age
    11 Central Government Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of online applications (SC/ ST). Up to 45 years of age
    12 Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried. Up to 35 years of age
    13 Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried (SC/ ST). Up to 40 years of age

     

    SSC CHSL 2023 Exam Pattern

    The exam pattern of SSC CHSL 2023 is explained in the tables below. SSC CHSL 2023 comprises three Tiers. Tier-I is mainly screening exams and scoring also.

    Tier – II Tier II will include the following three sections having two modules each Computer-Based (online)

     

    SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Procedure

    SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Process is based on the result of all two tiers.

    Candidates need to qualify for each tier to appear in the subsequent tier.

    The final selection list is prepared by shortlisting applicants based on their cumulative performance across the first two tiers.

    After qualifying all three tiers the candidates will be called for the Document Verification.

    Candidates will be allotted to the various departments for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Divisional Clerks, and Court Clerks based on their merit and preference of post.
