    IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern: Important Points

    • Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above./li>
    • There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
    • No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject as well as for aggregate (overall) are prescribed.
    • Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.

    The eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2021 exam is mainly about two pre-requisites:

    Educational Qualifications: (As on 16.08.2021) He/she must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

    Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2021) Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2021, i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1993 and not later than 01.04.2001 (both days inclusive).

    Educational Qualification:

    • A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should possess a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination.

    The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

    Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

    Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

    SBI Clerk Negative Marking

    SBI Clerk has a different marking scheme for prelims and main exams. However, a negative marking of 0.25 of the allotted marks is applicable in both the exams.
