    MPSC PSI – STI – ASO

    INTRODUCTION

    Candidates who will appear in this exam next year should know about the MPSC Exam Pattern 2023 and its changes. All the changes have been made to the suggestions given by a committee of three experts. So here are the major changes that you should know as a candidate.

    1. Total 9 papers will be in the MPSC Mains exam 2023.
    2. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are mandatory to qualify with at least 25% marks.
    3. Total marks will be 1750.
    4. Candidates can choose 2 optional subjects for Mains Exam with 250 marks each.

    Prelims

    This exam consists of two papers, both of which are objective in nature. Take a look at the following table for the details of the prelims exam. Please note that both papers are compulsory.

    1. Candidates should note that there is negative marking for incorrect answers.
    2. For every incorrect answer, the candidate will be penalised 1/4 of the marks allocated to that question.
    3. For every question where a candidate has given two options as answers, he/she will be attracting a negative marking of 25% of the total marks assigned to that question.
    4. The questions on decision making (Paper-II) do not attract negative marks***************** if incorrectly answered. These generally comprise question numbers from 74 to 80 in Paper-II.
    5. In MPSC, both Paper I and II are counted for the merit ranking for qualifying for the MPSC mains.

     

    Mains

    The MPSC has announced a new exam pattern for the year 2023. The commission has brought significant changes to the exam pattern which are discussed below:

    Interview and Personality Test 275 Marks
    Total Marks 2025 Marks
